For novelists writing a series

Your story bible, grown from your manuscript

Characters, places, map and timeline filled in as you write, every fact citing its page. Portraits of your cast painted from the facts you sealed. An AI that only ever suggests.

Open by invitation while it grows. Your first book is free when you’re in.

9 characters, one demo series. Each with a canon portrait and facts that cite their page.

The studio: Elowen’s canon portrait, a sealed fact with its citations, an AI suggestion waiting for approval, and a continuity conflict.

Sound familiar?

Every series writer has asked at least one of these

  • Which chapter did I say her eyes were grey?
  • He can’t know about the letter yet. Can he?
  • Three spreadsheets, two notebooks, one wiki nobody updates.
  • Book 3 contradicts book 1 and a reader will notice.
  • I know what she looks like. I just can’t show anyone.
  • Was the bridge burned in book one or book two?
  • How old was she when the war started?
  • I gave two minor characters the same name.
  • Where did I write down how the magic works?
  • My cover artist keeps asking what he looks like.

How it works

You write the chapter. The bible writes itself down.

The AI reads each chapter and suggests what it finds, each suggestion pointing to its paragraph. Nothing is canon until you approve it.

What the Loom Remembers

Nobody kept hours in the Lantern Archive, and that winter neither did Elowen. She came after the last bell, when Highspire had folded its wind-bridges for the night, and found Bastian at the long table under the north lamps, unrolling a bolt of loom-silk as if it might bruise.

When she lifted her hand, the light changed. The thread-scar on her palm glowed gold in the lamplight.

The studio

One canon. Every way of seeing it.

Everything you approve shows up across the studio: on the map, the timeline, the graph and in every hub, each fact one click from its passage. These are the real screens of the demo series, The Hollowmere Cycle.

The cast

Painted from what you wrote, not from a prompt you had to invent.

Each portrait was painted in the Visual Studio and locked as canon. Hover a face, or use the arrow keys, to see what the bible says about them.

View your canon at any chapter

Drag the dial. The whole studio shows what was true at that point: hubs, map, timeline, graph, and how your characters looked then. Prequels and flashbacks stop slipping.

Present. A few years on, as queen: the face you chose for Book 3, and everything you have sealed.

Catch the mistake before a reader does

Two real pages from the demo manuscript, eighteen chapters apart. This is a demo: nothing here calls a model.

  1. The studio reads each chapterIt compares what you wrote with every fact you have sealed.
  2. One sentence disagreesIn chapter 9 her scar was sealed as silver. Chapter 27 says it glowed gold.
  3. You decide what is trueChoose the marked words, then one of three fixes. Nothing changes until you do.

Book 1 · Chapter 9 · The ninth loom wakes

When she opened her fist the thread was gone from the loom. In its place, across the whole of her left palm from the root of the first finger to the heel of the hand, lay a fine silver line, raised and gleaming, as if a single strand of the Ninth Loom had been stitched into her skin.

CanonScar: silver thread across the left palmB1 › Ch 9 › ¶14

Book 1 · Chapter 27 · What the Loom Remembers

When she lifted her hand, the light changed. The thread-scar on her palm in the lamplight. It had always been a pale seam, a thing she forgot for months at a time.

One phrase contradicts the canon. Choose it to see the conflict.

Where we stand on AI

It reads. It suggests.
It never writes your canon.

Canon

This is a demo. In the studio, only you can press the seal.

  • Marked, always

Everything the AI produces wears the open diamond and the words “AI suggestion · not canon”, with the passages it was found in.

  • Sealed by you

Canon changes only by your hand, and every change can be undone.

  • As much or as little

Choose which books it may read, or switch it off. Anthropic’s Claude reads chapters; Google’s model paints pictures. Your writing never trains anything.

Questions

Before you start

The pricing page has the detail on credits, cancelling and refunds.

Everything about pricing
Is it free?

Your first book is free, with everything except unlimited AI: the bible, manuscript, map, timeline, graph and export. Paid plans add every book you write and a monthly allowance of credits for pictures and AI reads.

What does a credit buy?

One picture, or one AI read of a chapter up to 6,000 words (longer chapters use one more for every 6,000). Every button says what it will use before you press it. Credits are only spent when a model runs, and come back if it never did.

Will the AI change my book?

No. It reads and suggests. Your canon changes only by your hand, every change can be undone, and you choose which books it may read, or switch it off entirely.

Can I get my work out?

Any time. Export the bible as of any chapter, and the manuscript, from Settings › Export. Your words stay yours.

Does it work for a half-written series?

That is what it is for. Import what exists, write the rest here, and the bible grows chapter by chapter.

Which devices?

Any modern browser on a laptop or desktop; the reading, inbox and bible also fit a phone or tablet.
